Having started using AutoCAD in 1987 as a Draughtsman for speaker manufacturer Electro Acoustic Industries, I joined the Royal Engineers as an Electrical Mechanical Draughtsman and trained for a further 2 years at the Royal School of Military Engineering In Brompton. During my years in the Army I was fortunate to work on Projects in UK, Germany, Bosnia, Kenya and the Gulf.

After leaving the Army I worked for some of the leading Building Services Consultants in London and the South East working on the following projects:
